Job Description:

We are seeking a motivated Junior Technical Writer to join our Payments client who have an office in Ireland. This position fully remote role and therefore open to EU and UK candidates. You will be responsible for creating clear, concise, and comprehensive technical documentation that supports their cutting-edge payment solutions. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a passion for technology and a knack for translating complex information into user-friendly content. You will have the full support of a dedicated, established and highly skilled team who will provide you with guidance and mentorship.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including user guides, API documentation, and FAQs.
  • Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to gather and understand technical information.
  • Ensure documentation is accurate, up-to-date, and adheres to company standards.
  • Assist in the creation of training materials and documentation templates.
  • Participate in peer reviews to maintain high-quality standards and continuous improvement.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent industry experience.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to understand complex technical concepts.
  • Proficiency in using documentation tools such as MS Office, Google Docs, and Markdown.
  • Basic understanding of software development and payment systems is a plus.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote setting.
  • EU or UK residency is required.
