Saint John of God Liffey Services invites applications for the post of Senior Occupational Therapist. This is a permanent full-time position currently based in Celbridge, Co. Kildare.
Senior Occupational Therapist
Permanent – 0.77 WTE
(Ref: SOT-21)
The successful candidate must:
- Have a recognized qualification in Occupational Therapy.
- Full CORU registration or CORU application under process (commencement in the role will be subject to successful registration with CORU).
- Have a minimum of three years’ post qualification experience working as an Occupational Therapist and experience of working with adults with intellectual disability.
- Have keen interest in management of seating and posture difficulties and management of sensory processing disorder in adults.
- Have keen interest in working with older adults and in the area of dementia.
- Demonstrate ability to work within a Multi-disciplinary team providing services to adults with complex needs.
- Demonstrate excellent initiative, flexibility, communication, and organizational skills.
- Demonstrate ability to provide clinical supervision and support others' development.
- Have a full clean driver’s licence and access to own vehicle.
Desirable:
- Membership of AOTI.
- Training in management of Sensory processing disorder.
- Training in management of Complex seating and Posture difficulties.
- Experience in the area of Dementia and family/staff training.
