Please note: A full clean Irish or EU driver's license is essential as well as previous working experience in a similar role in Ireland.

Main Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Project manage the delivery of environmental auditing and environmental due diligence projects.
  • Undertake business development activities and prepare tender documents.
  • Ensure that new and existing business is maintained through client liaison.
  • Attend monthly project and workload review meetings.
  • Conduct fieldwork e.g. site visits, environmental sampling and site investigations involving sampling of soil, groundwater, surface water, air quality, noise, etc.
  • Interpreting fieldwork data i.e. statistical analysis and comparison with relevant guidelines and legislative standards.
  • Prepare technical reports for companies, environmental agencies and government bodies.
  • Assist in preparing project proposals and quotations.
  • Liaise with clients, landowners and statutory consultees.
  • Organise and manage sub-consultants, sub-contractors and third-party contributors to projects.
  • Contribute to other projects or duties as may be required.
Education, Experience and Memberships:
  • Relevant Science or Engineering degree.
  • Membership/Chartered Status with a relevant professional body/institute.
  • At least four years of relevant experience in Environmental Consultancy.
  • Good working knowledge and experience in implementing relevant EU and Irish legislation relating to environmental compliance and management of contaminated land.
  • Ambitious and a drive to succeed.
  • Strong organisational skills.
  • Strong team player with self-motivation.
  • Flexible to travel when required.
  • Excellent communication skills, with an ability to engage with people at all levels.
