Job Overview

The Construction Project Manager will lead all aspects of the housing project, ensuring timely delivery, adherence to budget, and compliance with health and safety standards. This role requires a proactive individual with excellent leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of the housing project, from pre-construction through to completion.
  2. Coordinate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to ensure project milestones are achieved.
  3. Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and resource plans.
  4. Ensure compliance with Irish building regulations, planning permissions, and health & safety standards.
  5. Oversee procurement of materials and manage supplier relationships.
  6. Monitor site activities to ensure quality control and address any issues promptly.
  7. Provide regular progress reports to senior management and clients.

Requirements

  1. Experience: Minimum of 5 years in project management within the construction industry, preferably residential housing projects.
  2. Qualifications:
    • Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
  3. Skills:
    • Strong knowledge of Irish building codes and regulations.
    • Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership abilities.
    • Proficient in project management tools and software.
  4. Attributes:
    • Results-driven with a strong attention to detail.
    • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
