Network Security Engineer - Network Architect - Dublin

An established MSP in Dublin has an interesting career opportunity for an experienced Network Security Engineer. This is a fantastic career opportunity, as it will give you a rapid pathway to step up to Network Architect level.

You will join a growing MSP who are getting involved in increasing amounts of enterprise-level projects. As Network Security Engineer, you will play a vital role as a contributor where you will focus on designing & implementing next-generation security architecture such as transforming cloud services and zero-trust security frameworks.

You will face interesting projects where you will develop network strategy for key clients, focusing mainly on projects with enterprise-level clients, such as firewall replacement projects.

Overall, this is a great chance for you to contribute and play a key role in a range of major network projects.

This role will suit a Network Security Engineer who has exposure to network architecture and will give you a platform to step up to Network Architect.

Requirements

You must have the following skills and experience:

  1. Senior network engineer & security experience within an MSP company
  2. Strong networking experience including network protocols, routing, and switching
  3. Security framework experience & compliance
  4. Expert at configuring firewalls, VPNs, and IDS/IPS systems
  5. Cloud networking and security solutions
  6. Proven project management experience
  7. Excellent client-facing skills, especially at enterprise level
  8. Strong bonus if you have CCNP, CCIE, CISSP, CEH, or similar certifications
  9. You live in Ireland & are legal to work in Ireland
