We are seeking an energetic, experienced, dedicated, child centred Early Years Professional.

Essential requirements for Early Years Educator:

Min QQI level 7/8 qualified. Previous Experience in a Preschool Early Years environment and a School Aged Childcare setting is essential. Knowledge of Early Years Regulations, Childrens First, Aistear and Síolta and all funding schemes ECCE, NCS and Core Funding. Exceptional leadership, administration and communication skills required. Minimum 3 years post qualification working on the floor is required. An inclusive approach to practice Experience of working with parents as partners Be naturally warm and respectful towards children & their needs. A proven level of computer literacy. The ideal candidate must be child focused, enthusiastic, self-motivated and have the ability to work as part of/lead a team. Full Job Description available upon request. Hours: 40 between 8am and 6pm School term work only To Commence As soon as possible

Roles and Responsibilities

To work with our Early Years team running a holistic service with the needs of the children at the fore. to also work in our School Aged Childcare setting ensuring a home from home environment for all our children.

The successful candidate must have

Level 7 or 8 Qualification

First Aid, Manual Handling, Fire Safety, HACCP, Child Protection ( These can be worked towards within first few months of employment) 

Hours

Differing between 8am and 6pm 40 per week
