We are recruiting for various roles, including Marine Adjusting across multiple business lines including hull, liability, and cargo, surveying, and specialist areas within our Marine Division.

The roles involve working closely with insurers, brokers, policyholders, and other service providers in order to investigate and report on claims while building and maintaining client relationships.

You must have relevant experience working within the Marine sector. If you have the suitable skills and experience, then we'd love to hear from you.

You will have/will be:

  1. Essential: Marine insurance market or marine law experience
  2. Experience of handling marine claims
  3. The confidence and ability to deliver excellent customer service throughout the lifecycle of the claim
  4. Able to demonstrate experience in marine adjusting and handling claims process from instruction to conclusion
  5. A willingness to liaise and build effective working relationships with other internal product lines/departments and external clients
  6. Be able to manage incoming and outgoing correspondence and complete case enquiries with the confidence and technical ability to work without direction where appropriate
  7. Understand the importance of ensuring all stakeholders and parties are kept fully updated at all times, and have a proactive claims handling philosophy
  8. The desire and ability to deliver customer service at a very high level, and to meet our goal of making claims easy for everyone
  9. Accurate daily time recording, delivering a high proportion of chargeable hours demonstrating technical competence
