FCN is currently recruiting Passionate and Committed RNs, LPNs and CNAs for Per-Diem/local contract opportunities with our Facility Partners in Hampton Roads & surrounding cities. Per Diem and Contract Opportunities in the following VA locations: Virginia Beach, Norfolk, Portsmouth, Chesapeake, Suffolk, Courtland, Windsor, Newport News, Hampton, Williamsburg.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Covid Vaccine
• 1 year Experience Minimum
• BLS/CPR Certification
• Updated PPD (within 1 year)
• Active RN License
• Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds without restrictions.
• Must be able to stand and walk for long hours without restrictions.
• Must be able to bend and lift without restrictions.

Registered Nurse (RN) Job Description:

• Continuous evaluation and monitoring of patients for signs of recovery or worsening of their condition.
• Changing dressings, starting IV lines, and inserting catheters.
• Preparing medical equipment and maintaining supplies to be ready for immediate use.
• Administering medication as directed by a physician or within the nurses' own schedule of drugs.
• Accurately reporting on patients' progress to the other members of the care team, as well as to families and medical decision-makers.
• Assisting doctors with monitoring and with bedside procedures performed in the progressive care unit.
