Drama Teacher
28 Hours per week
As a Drama Teacher, you will play a vital role in helping service users with intellectual disabilities explore their creativity and boost their confidence through the magic of drama and self-expression. You will also be responsible for developing and producing theatrical productions that showcase our service user talents. To be successful in this job, you must be passionate about theatre and working with service users with intellectual disabilities. Excellent communication and organisational skills are essential, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Essential Requirements
- Education and Training to 3rd level standard - Advanced/Higher Certificate - Teaching and/or drama qualification preferred.
- Experience of working with people with additional support needs including intellectual disabilities, ASD, physical and sensory needs, and/or mental health difficulties.
- A solid understanding or experience in drama or theatre is essential.
- Full clean driving licence and willingness to drive as part of the role.
