The Role

As a Psychiatric Nurse, you will complete a wide range of responsibilities, including assessing and monitoring the mental health status of patients, administering medications and treatments as prescribed by psychiatrists, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to develop comprehensive care plans. You'll provide emotional support and therapeutic interventions to individuals struggling with mental health disorders, helping them cope with their symptoms and work towards recovery. Additionally, you'll educate patients and their families about mental health conditions, promote a safe and therapeutic environment within psychiatric units, and advocate for the rights and needs of individuals with mental illness.
