Global Procurement Lead

The Global Procurement Lead is responsible for ensuring uninterrupted product availability by managing all procurement activities for direct and indirect materials. This hands-on role will oversee supplier relationships, contract negotiations, and procurement processes to support global operations. The successful candidate will also lead the implementation and optimization of NetSuite ERP or other ERP systems to improve procurement efficiency.

Required Education and Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of procurement experience in a global manufacturing or medical device environment.
  • Proven track record of ensuring product availability and managing supplier risks.
  • Strong background in direct and indirect procurement, supplier negotiations, and strategic sourcing.
  • ERP system experience (NetSuite preferred) or ERP implementation expertise.
Preferred Education and Experience
  • Experience working in a regulated industry (medical device, pharmaceuticals, or biotech preferred).
  • Procurement certifications such as CIPS, CPM, or CPSM.
  • Experience in a private equity or high-growth environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure consistent product availability by managing supplier lead times, purchase orders, and inventory levels.
  • Develop and execute global procurement strategies to optimize cost, quality, and supply chain resilience.
  • Monitor and mitigate supply risks by proactively managing supplier performance and diversifying sourcing options.
  • Negotiate contracts and lead supplier relationship management to secure best-in-class service and pricing.
  • Collaborate closely with manufacturing, planning, and logistics teams to align procurement with operational needs.
  • Drive ERP system implementation (NetSuite preferred) to streamline procurement automation and reporting.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory, quality, and business requirements in a medical device environment.
  • Develop key performance metrics to measure procurement efficiency and supplier performance.
