Devops Azure Engineer (2-3 years)

The Role:
  1. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to plan, coordinate, and execute software releases.
  2. Automate environment provisioning and deployment pipelines to enable rapid and consistent deployments.
  3. Implement and improve release management processes to increase efficiency and reduce errors during deployments.
  4. Manage release schedules, milestones, and deployment activities to ensure timely and successful releases.
  5. Configure and maintain development, testing, staging, and production environments.
  6. Monitor and optimize environment performance, ensuring stability and availability.
  7. Collaborate with the development team to integrate CI/CD pipelines for automated testing, building, and deployment of applications.
  8. Implement and maintain version control systems and related tools for code management.
  9. Respond to and resolve incidents and outages in a timely manner.
  10. Manage application configurations, ensuring consistency across different environments (development, testing, production).
  11. Assist in defining structured practices especially in build and release management.
  12. Support occasional application releases or urgent system incidents during evenings and at weekends.
  13. Troubleshoot and resolve environment-related issues to minimize downtime and improve system reliability.
YOU:
  1. Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.
  2. Certifications in relevant areas such as DevOps, CI/CD, Azure - desirable.
  3. Minimum 2 years’ experience in Java environment as a release or DevOps engineer in Azure with demonstrable experience in Azure DevOps.
  4. Good understanding of Git, Jenkins, Maven.
  5. Experience in scripting with languages such as (Java, Python).
  6. Exposure to tools and technologies such as Ant, Docker, SonarQube, Digital.ai Release, Weblogic, Apache Tomcat, Splunk.
  7. Some database or data modelling experience - SQL.
  8. Familiarity with Atlassian tools such as Confluence, Jira, BitBucket.
  9. Experience with configuration management tools – Ansible.
  10. Familiar with working in a Linux environment.

€60-65k + overtime payments + Bonus and loads of benefits and perks.
