Duties and Responsibilities:
- Oversee all duties carried out by the team during the shift.
- Supervise store operations and staff, delegating duties as necessary.
- Ensure efficient opening and closing procedures in accordance with security and store policies.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures at all times.
- Assist in staff induction, training, and development.
- Ensure checkouts are operated efficiently and effectively.
- Promote the Customer Loyalty programme and encourage staff engagement in this process.
- Manage stock, check deliveries against store procedures, and raise queries with suppliers when needed.
- Handle customer queries, requests, and complaints, ensuring high standards of customer care.
- Maintain hygiene standards and store presentation as per procedures.
- Comply with all Health & Safety requirements relevant to the Service Station and report breaches promptly.
- Manage the Service Station in the absence of the Store Manager.
- Perform additional duties as directed by management.
