We are hiring Clinical Nurse Specialist – Tissue Viability for a leading hospital in Dublin, Ireland.

Responsibilities
  • Must continuously assess and monitor the function of the Tissue Viability Nurse Specialist in order to develop the professional scope of practice.
  • To take part, where appropriate, in team discussions on treatment needs.
  • Create and revise policies and processes that adhere to accepted best practices.
  • To address the requirements of the patients and their families, collaborate with the diverse clinical team.
  • To exhibit creative practice in the delivery of care in accordance with the Code of Professional Conduct and Ethics for Registered Nurses and Registered Midwives 2025, as well as to provide a high degree of clinical and professional leadership.
  • Promote best practices, coordinate educational activities with the Nurse Practice Development Unit (NPDU), and guarantee the continuous professional development of nursing professionals.
  • Create and oversee educational and support initiatives for medical staff, patients, and their families.
Requirements
  • Registered General Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI), or eligible to register with NMBI.
  • Tissue Viability Graduate Diploma.
  • Five years of acute hospital experience during the previous seven years after registration.
  • Formally recognised post-registration training at level 9 (Graduate diploma or honours degree) that is pertinent to the field of specialist practice.
  • Experience in management is preferred but not required.
  • Possess prior experience working in a multi-professional setting; IT proficiency is crucial.
