The role:

This is a great opportunity for a talented paralegal to join Global X's Legal team as a paralegal for the region.

As a paralegal, they will be tackling new challenges daily and ensuring smooth operations as we strive to enhance our proactive and practical legal and compliance services for our business units and corporate stakeholders.

The successful candidate will report into the General Counsel and will work closely with all business functions across the Dublin, London and US offices, supporting the business as it expands.

They will play a key role within Global X's Legal team by assisting in various legal work streams and key administrative activities. The successful candidate will work closely with the General Counsel and various cross-functional teams to ensure legal processes and documentation are accurate and compliant with applicable laws and regulations.

This person should possess an empathetic interpersonal style to connect with stakeholders and demonstrate flexibility in adapting to changing company priorities.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Act as the first point of contact for many legal work streams providing timely and effective support to business stakeholders while collaborating with external advisors and other teams.
  • Support and manage the approval of regulatory filings ensuring timely and accurate submissions.
  • Support and ensure compliance with relevant legal and regulatory requirements across all relevant entities.
  • Facilitate the invoicing process of legal matters by reviewing invoices and managing the approval and payment processes.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • You hold a bachelor's degree in law and/or paralegal certificate.
  • You have 3+ years of experience as a paralegal in a law firm or corporate legal department.
  • You have excellent English both written and verbal.
  • You have experience working in a fast-paced environment.
  • You are effective, proactive, creative, work well under time pressure and have an excellent eye for detail.
  • You have a collaborative approach and a roll-up your sleeves attitude to tackle projects large and small.
  • You are proficient with Microsoft Office.
  • Extremely organised and able to manage various time-sensitive deliverables.
