Daffodil Care Services is recruiting Social Care Workers and Relief Social Care Workers for our new mainstream residential care service located between Kells and Navan, Co. Meath.

Role OverviewAs part of this new team, working alongside the Centre Manager and Social Care Leaders, you will provide high-quality social care in a safe, caring, and stabilizing environment for vulnerable young people aged 12-17. You will contribute to delivering individualized daily activities within the residential setting. This role is ideal for energetic, creative, and versatile social care professionals passionate about working with youth.
What We Offer- Competitive starting salary for Social Care Workers: €39,567 - €42,895 annually, inclusive of sleeping time and premiums.

Applicants should hold social care-related qualifications at Level 7 or Level 8 (Ireland and internationally). Suitable qualifications include:
- QQI Level 8 in Psychology.
- QQI Level 7 or Professional Practice Qualification in Child & Adolescent Psychotherapy.
- QQI Level 7 or Professional Practice Qualification in Counselling/Psychotherapy.
- QQI Level 7 or Professional Practice Qualification in Addiction Counselling.
- QQI Level 7 in Youth and Community or similar.
- QQI Level 7 in Social Science/Social Studies.
- QQI Level 7 in Family Support.
- Professional Qualification in Teaching (excluding TEFL).
- Professional Qualification in Nursing Studies.
- QQI Level 7 in Disability Studies.
- QQI Level 7 in Applied Behavioural Analysis.
- QQI Level 7 in Early Years Care (for centers catering to children under 12).
- BA in Applied Policing or equivalent.
- Higher Certificate in Custodial Care (Irish Prison Service) or equivalent.
Alternatively, candidates with a QQI Level 6 qualification and at least 2 years' experience working with children and young people in a social care setting are encouraged to apply. Social Care Leaders must also have 2 years' experience in a similar setting.
Mandatory RequirementsA full Irish driver's license is required for this position.
