• Oversee the day-to-day management of the hospice services, ensuring excellence in care delivery.
• Develop, implement, and monitor strategic plans to enhance service efficiency and effectiveness.
• Lead and inspire a dedicated team of healthcare professionals and volunteers in delivering compassionate care.
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including healthcare providers, families, and community organizations.
• Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, best practices, and organizational policies.
• Manage the budget and financial resources for services, ensuring sustainability and accountability.
• Promote awareness and understanding of hospice services within the community through outreach and educational initiatives.

Requirements

• Proven experience in a senior management role within the healthcare or non-profit sector, preferably in palliative care or hospice services.
• Strong understanding of the challenges and needs of individuals with life-limiting illnesses and their families.
• Exceptional leadership and team-building skills, with the ability to motivate and engage staff and volunteers.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with diverse stakeholders.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and implement strategic plans that drive organizational success.
• Financial acumen to manage budgets and ensure fiscal responsibility.

Location:    Suir Haven Cancer Support Centre, Clongour, Thurles, Co. Tipperary

Duration:    Temporary 30 Hours per week (Initial 12-month contract).
