Role Overview: We are currently seeking a skilled individual to join our client’s team as a full-time CNC Surface Grinder. This role presents an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, utilizing cutting-edge technology and software within their advanced machine shop. In this role, you will be working alongside a highly skilled CNC Grinder with 25+ years of experience.
Responsibilities:
- Operate machining equipment to precision-machine components according to specifications.
- Establish efficient grinding processes, determine grinding wheel requirements (e.g. wheel type, hardness, dressing cycles), and develop setup and operation sheets to efficiently manage operations.
- Interpret technical drawings accurately, ensuring compliance with relevant standards.
- Fabricate components from a variety of materials with precision and efficiency.
- Maintain a safe working environment by adhering to established protocols.
Requirements:
- Relevant experience in a similar role.
- Proficiency in manufacturing components of varying complexity.
- Sound knowledge of diverse manufacturing processes.
- Ability to work independently and with attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team.
