Overall Purpose of Job

We're continuing to grow Our Planning & Place Team has opportunities for a Planner in our Dublin Office. Recent appointments to a number of prestigious inner-city regeneration projects, and the growing demand for our services by housing, healthcare and infrastructure clients, mean we are investing in our team.

Responsibilities

Provide advice on the planning potential of land and property; Provide advice to assist in the formulation of development proposals, to meet Client requirements; Provide advice that assesses and weighs the opportunities/risks presented by the planning system; Prepare and submit planning applications; Prepare and submit representations responding to development plan and similar consultations; Prepare Reports, Briefing Notes, Appeal Statements, Instructions to Counsel, Proofs of Evidence etc; Diligent and sensitive liaison with planning authorities and stakeholders; and Regular and frequent assessment of risks which might impact upon meeting Client objectives.

Qualifications

Minimum of 2 years post-graduate private/public sector experience; Hold an accredited (IPI or RTPI) town planning qualification; Demonstrate a working knowledge of the Irish Planning system; Good academic results A member of the Irish Planning Institute or Royal Town Planning Institute professional experience working in a planning consultancy (commensurate with the grade applied for) A genuine passion for town planning and placemaking Driven, ambitious, commercial, and great at building/maintaining business relationships
