Cumming Group Ireland based in Dun Laoghaire is looking to recruit an Assistant Project Manager in Dublin.

Responsibilities:
  • Supporting the use of the full range of the Project Management Process.
  • Being responsible and accountable, along with the lead project managers, for the successful delivery of projects.
  • Provide support on day-to-day delivery of projects and show the ability to take on tasks with minimal supervision.
  • Support knowledge capture, sharing and innovation.
  • Aiding the project manager with formulating and implementing the Project Execution Plan including all usual requirements including brief, governance, communications, stakeholder management, change management etc.
  • Support preparation and evaluation of tenders, contractor selection and contract documentation.
  • Ensures accuracy and thoroughness in project tracking, reporting, and execution.
  • Support contract administration for relevant contract provisions, monthly reporting, project meetings and other administration-based tasks.
  • Undertake service delivery in accordance with the policies and procedures of the Practice, particularly Health & Safety and Quality Assurance.
  • Undertake service in compliance with client's corporate governance procedures where applicable.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to continuing professional development and continuous improvement.
  • Support development and management of the project programmes and obtaining the buy-in of all stakeholders.
  • Support lead project managers as needed.
  • Fostering strong, collaborative relationships and establishing a position as a trusted advisor to clients, other consultants/contractors/project stakeholders ensuring satisfaction and driving long-term partnerships that result in repeat business and sustained success.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering/project management or a related field is preferred.
  • Membership of related professional body e.g. PMP, CAPM or equivalent are a plus.
  • 2+ years relevant industry experience in project management or related field.
  • Driving Licence.
Other Skills:
  • Basic technical project management skills.
  • Basic understanding of industry standard forms of contract.
  • Developing knowledge of construction industry technical matters.
  • Skilled in prioritizing tasks, managing schedules, and maintaining project documentation.
  • Ability to convey ideas clearly, listen actively, and facilitate smooth collaboration among stakeholders.
  • Maintains professionalism at all times and manages interpersonal dynamics effectively with both internal team and external clients.
  • Ability to effectively communicate ideas and information to an audience through clear, engaging, and confident delivery – both verbally and written.
