Position Summary:
At Cylynt, we are currently looking for a Data Quality Specialist to work with our Customer Success team in Dublin 2. This position requires on-site attendance at least one day per week, with the option to work remotely on the remaining days. This is a new role and is key to providing actionable insights for customers so that they can maximise their ROI from our platform. Our telemetry data can be complicated and nuanced, and requires excellent critical analysis skills to fully interpret and understand.
We are looking for an individual who lives and breathes data. The successful candidate will understand the business logic behind the data, and be deeply attuned to patterns, nuances, and behaviours in the data, with a keen ability to recognise when something doesn’t look right.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor complex data within our system to detect anomalies.
- Conduct investigations to determine the root cause of anomalies within the data and other data quality issues.
- Establish data quality rules, policies, and frameworks to ensure data consistency and accuracy.
- Develop automated data validation and anomaly detection systems.
- Set up threshold-based alerts for unexpected changes in data distribution.
- Identify opportunity for process improvements that enhance data quality.
- Implement approved process improvements as required.
- Provide recommendations to product team for improvement to the platform so that complex data is more accessible and easier to understand.
- Use data visualisation tools (Looker) to provide customised dashboards for customers.
- When required, participate in strategic customer calls as a Compliance Data SME, presenting findings and insights to key stakeholders.
- Support the customer success and sales team.
Requirements:
- A Master’s Degree in Data / Business Analytics is essential, ideally with a primary degree in Computer Science.
- A minimum of 5 years post graduate work experience analysing very complex data.
- Experience presenting data insights to senior level customer stakeholders.
- Experience working with data visualisation tools, ideally Looker.
