Site Facilities/Technical Supervisor

Role: Site Facilities/Technical Supervisor

An excellent opportunity has arisen within the company for a Site Facilities/Technical Supervisor.

The Site Facilities/Technical Supervisor will report to the Mill Head of Section Production and is responsible for co-ordinating non-Maintenance activities related to Site Surface Facilities and Mill Plant.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:
  1. Be a role model and promote best practices relating to environment, health, safety and quality (EHSQ).
  2. Co-ordinate site surface contractors and non-Maintenance works.
  3. Co-ordinate Mill Production routine preventative maintenance tasks.
  4. Co-ordinate and collaborate with Mill Maintenance for assisting in works.
  5. Management of contractors and contracts related to site surface facilities and Mill Production related tasks.
Experience and Qualifications:
  1. 5 years’ experience in heavy industrial process.
  2. Leaving certificate or equivalent.
  3. A technical or industrial safety qualification is an advantage.
  4. Experience in contractor management is preferred.
Skills and Capabilities:
  1. Organisational skills.
  2. Strong interpersonal skills.
  3. Problem solving skills.
  4. Ability to create and maintain an inclusive culture.
  5. Good communication skills with strong verbal, written and computer skills.
  6. Effective team player along with the ability to work under one’s own initiative.
  7. The candidate must have the ability to promote the Boliden Core Values in all aspects of their role.
  8. Analytical and creative thinking skills.
  9. Flexible approach to work.
  10. Willingness to promote continuous improvements within the company.
Additional Info:
  1. This role will be full time, Monday to Friday, 37.5 hour working week, and will require successful applicant to provide on-call weekend cover as part of a Mill Management Team roster.
  2. There will be a degree of flexibility required as part of this role in line with operational requirements.
