LearnUpon is looking for a Senior Data Analyst to join our team in Dublin or Belgrade.

As a Senior Data Analyst in the BI Team, you will be responsible for providing actionable insights to help drive our business, working across Marketing, Sales, and Finance. We need someone with an eye for data governance to work with business teams, building automation, reports, and deep dives to help drive our operations and strategy. This is a high-impact, high visibility role, often working directly with our executive team.

What will I be doing?

  • Work as a part of a team of data analysts & data/ML engineers to design data flows and tables that support analysis.
  • Work with business partners to define, document, and enforce metric definitions, to advance company-wide data governance.
  • Create insightful dashboards and reports to track core metrics and extract useful business insights.
  • Build automation to support business use of data, such as automated decks, intelligent alerts, or scripted workflows.
  • Develop deep-dive analysis on large-scale structured and unstructured data, and communicate findings to senior leaders.
  • Evangelize data-driven culture and decision making.

What skills do I need?

  • 4+ years of relevant professional experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate findings clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences. Ability to drive business and technical discussions.
  • Proficiency using SQL to analyze datasets with databases such as MySQL, Postgres, Snowflake, Oracle, or Teradata (we use Snowflake + Airflow).
  • Experience with creating dashboards and data visualizations using either a programming language (R, Python) or BI tool (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) or web development (JS). (We generally use Python, and Superset/Streamlit for dashboards).
  • Resourceful, creative, adaptable, and curious.
  • Strong English written and verbal communication skills.

Not required but considered a big plus:

  • Experience in at least one programming language (e.g., R, Python).
  • Experience with automation.
  • Experience or interest in data governance.
  • Previous experience supporting a customer success or sales team.
