We are looking to hire an Apprentice Electrician.Duties:
- Support and assist the Electrician or perform less complex installation tasks independently.
- Installation of PV Solar, training will be provided.
- Responsible for learning all procedures for installing and maintaining electrical systems as well as regulations and safety requirements.
- Guarantee that the works comply with site quality standards and guidelines.
- Support and assist the Electrician or perform less complex installation tasks independently.
- Obtaining Electrical Trainee Certification according to the state requirement.
- Demonstrating knowledge of electrical codes.
- Possessing the ability to understand schematics and technical manuals.
- Comply with all safety limitations and procedures.
- Ensure that correct PPE is worn at all times on site.
- Keep the workplace in a tidy manner and free of excess materials.
- Plan and execute works in the most productive manner.
- Dispose of waste in the correct receptacles.
Skills Needed:
- Ability to work independently.
- Problem-solving – to take a controlled / real-time approach to problems and solving them.
- Ability to manage and prioritise tasks.
- Interpersonal skills – and be willing to work on one's own initiative or as part of a wider site team.
- Understanding construction documentation is an advantage.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Capability to work well under pressure and within a strict time limit environment.
