Ergo is the largest privately owned IT services provider in Ireland. With companies spread across 6 countries, Ergo has a diverse workforce of just over 500 each with their own goals, needs, and personalities.

We are seeking a Senior Business Analyst (6 month contract) for a large client in the finance sector. The role of the Business Analyst is to engage with the acquired businesses' IT departments to define the scope of what is required to be integrated from an IT perspective.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyse the IT landscape of the acquired businesses
  • Document the outcome
  • Work with the IT integration project in identifying the integration scope

Requirements:

  • Should have worked on projects in a large IT organisation previously
  • Is comfortable with IT concepts and terminology (Office 365, Azure, Data Centres, Business Applications)
  • Is comfortable working with a large group of disparate stakeholders, who have varying levels of commitment to the project outcome
  • Will drive the definition of Business requirements and communicate these clearly to the relevant stakeholders
  • Will push for engagement of all concerned parties in reaching a conclusion to the Business IT discovery requirements
  • Will build relationships with key decision makers in the wider organisation
  • Will adjust to changing priorities and expectations as needed
  • Will communicate the urgency of the task and escalate lack of engagement as required
  • Is comfortable working independently and working out the steps required to achieve the project deliverables
