Duties & Responsibilities:

Contract Lifecycle Management:
  • Triaging and Queue Management: Prioritize incoming contract requests and manage the contract queue efficiently.
  • Oversee all stages of the contract lifecycle, from drafting, query response and negotiation to execution and storage.
  • Conduct contract reviews and quality assurance checks to minimize risk and ensure compliance.
  • Develop and maintain standardized contract templates, playbooks and processes to improve efficiency and consistency.
Operational Excellence:
  • Streamline contract administration processes, leveraging technology and automation where possible.
  • Provide timely and accurate contract data and reporting to support business decisions.
  • Identify negotiation trends to inform policy enhancements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (sales, legal, finance, product, project management) to ensure smooth contract execution.
Client Relationships:
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Proactively identify and address potential contract issues and risks.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and support throughout the contract lifecycle.
  • Continuously analyse contract data and identify areas for improvement in contract processes and procedures.
  • Stay abreast of industry best practices and legal developments in contract management.

Skills & Experience:

  • 4+ years of contracts management experience
  • Previous experience in commercial contract operational roles, ideally within the legal or contract management function
  • Tech-savvy with the ability to manage contract-related systems and processes efficiently
  • Strong understanding of Commercial Contracting processes and experience with legal drafting and review
  • Able to work across different teams and build strong relationships
  • Experience with CLM and CRM systems a plus
