TTM Healthcare Solutions in partnership with our client a state of the art step-down care and transitional facility based in North Dublin (221) Top Class Accommodation) who offer care following surgery and treatments for accidents or major surgery in an acute hospital are actively looking to recruit a Tissue Viability Nurse to join their team.
Position: Tissue Viability Nurse
Reports to: Assistant Director of Nursing
Accountable to: Director of Nursing
Purpose of the Post:
The role of the Tissue Viability Nurse is to develop and maintain an efficient tissue viability service for patients/residents; families and the MDT to prevent potential tissue damage as well as advise on current wounds. Tissue viability is an umbrella term which may include acute and chronic wounds.
Qualifications:
Essential:
Registered on the Live Register in the General Division of the Register of Nurses as maintained by the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland.
Hold/willing to work towards a post-graduate diploma in Tissue Viability Nursing
Desirable:
Skills and/or Experience:
Have at least 1-2 years post registration experience
Experience in Tissue Viability
