1. Teaching taxation courses at the bachelor's and master's level.
2. Utilize diverse teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles and promote student engagement.
3. Provide high-quality teaching and learning across a range of programs within a Hybrid Education setting.
4. Contribute to the development, design, delivery, and leadership of modules at various levels, including assessments methods, ensuring that the learning materials and methods of delivery meet defined learning objectives.
5. Develop, maintain, and organize all instructional materials.
6. Evaluate and grade projects/examinations and track student progress.
7. Ensure the curriculum aligns with industry standards and meets accreditation requirements.
8. Provide academic advising and career guidance to students.
9. Ensure continued relevance to the needs of students, examining awarding bodies, and our aims and strategic objectives.
10. Stay current with developments in the field of taxation through continuous professional development.
11. Engage with professional organizations, attend conferences, and network with industry experts.
12. Contribute to the development of specialist teaching and learning provision, including short courses, in finance, accounting, taxation and associated disciplines.

1. Proven excellence in teaching, with the ability to develop and deliver engaging and effective finance courses.
2. Ability to teach and examine courses at all levels – undergraduate, master, and higher research degrees.
3. Proficiency in using a variety of teaching methods and technologies to accommodate different learning styles.
4. Familiarity with AI and machine learning concepts, enabling the teaching and mentoring of students in these evolving fields.
5. Willingness to stay updated with technological advancements, industry trends, and educational best practices.
6. Commitment to continuous learning and professional development to enhance teaching and research capabilities.

1. A doctoral-level qualification in an area of academic relevance to the work of the Department. (OR)
2. Master's degree in finance, accounting, taxation, or related discipline.
3. Relevant Professional Experience.
4. Knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
5. Ability to explain difficult concepts in an understandable way.
6. Knowledge and experience of current teaching and learning strategies.
