Job Description

A creative and detail-oriented UI/UX Development Engineer to design and develop intuitive user interfaces for robotic applications in our semiconductor fabrication (fab) facility. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in UI/UX design, software development, and a passion for enhancing user experiences in high-tech environments.

Job Responsibilities

  1. Design and develop user-friendly interfaces for robotic control systems and automation software used in semiconductor manufacturing.
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including robotics engineers, software developers, and process engineers, to understand user requirements and translate them into effective UI/UX designs.
  3. Conduct user research, usability testing, and gather feedback to continuously improve the user experience.
  4. Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs to communicate design concepts and workflows.
  5. Implement UI designs using front-end development technologies and frameworks.
  6. Ensure the software interfaces are responsive, accessible, and optimized for performance.
  7. Stay updated with the latest UI/UX design trends, tools, and technologies, and apply them to enhance our software applications.
  8. Develop and maintain design documentation, style guides, and user manuals.
Minimum Degree Required

Bachelor's or Master's degree in UI/UX Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Science, or a related field.

Minimum Qualifications

  1. Proven experience in designing and developing user interfaces for software applications, preferably in a high-tech or manufacturing environment.
  2. Strong knowledge of UI/UX design principles, usability, and accessibility standards.
  3. Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe XD, Sketch, Figma, or similar.
  4. Experience with front-end development technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks like React or Angular.
  5. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  6. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Preferred Qualifications

  1. Experience with robotic applications and automation systems.
  2. Knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing processes and equipment.
  3. Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
