CQV Lead - Life Sciences - Contract - Clonmel

Our Partner in Tipperary area develops and supplies the active ingredients and final formulated product for a range of innovative medicines at its manufacturing and R&D facilities. The plant, which has been operating in Tipperary for over 40 years, exports to over 25 countries around the world with primary markets being Europe, USA and Japan.

CQV Lead Responsibilities:
  1. Manage team of C&Q Engineers on high profile client site throughout the project lifecycle.
  2. Identify the appropriate Commissioning and Qualification strategy to apply on specific project and define the list of activities required.
  3. Review and follow-up technical documentation from the early design phase in order to ensure alignment with GMP and CQV requirements.
  4. Investigate and resolve technical issues with assistance from engineers and/or suppliers.
  5. Ensure site project execution is undertaken in compliance with company guidelines, department procedures, and safety standards.
  6. Be familiar with the Mechanical Completion procedure and Construction scope of work (Walkdown, system acceptance, punch list and follow up).
  7. Schedule preparation and progress review.
  8. Organise and review daily activities of other CQV Engineers assigned to the project.
  9. Apply project management principles to coordinate CQV activities and report to Company and Clients PM.
  10. Manage and coordinate Contractors and Vendors.
  11. Prepare final Handover reports to the Client users.
About you:
  1. Previous experience as a Senior/Lead CQV Engineer.
  2. Delta-V experience is desirable, running EM’s and CMs.
  3. API experience required.
