A well-established accountancy practice in Waterford is seeking a Qualified Accountant to join their team. This role provides excellent career progression opportunities within a supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare accounts for a diverse portfolio of companies and sole traders
  • Compile statutory audit files for various clients
  • Prepare and submit corporate and personal tax returns
  • Manage VAT and PAYE returns
  • Utilize accounting software such as Sage Accounts Production, Sage One, Xero, and Bright Accounts
  • Assist with other ad hoc duties as required
Requirements:
  • Qualified Accountant with at least 3 years of experience in a small to medium-sized practice
  • Audit experience is preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines
  • Proficient in multiple accounting software systems
