Our client, a leading civil engineering contractor, is currently looking for an experienced Groundworks Foreman for a residential project kicking off in a month’s time, involving 300 units valued at €4 million.

The company has years of experience and is well known and respected in the industry. They offer a market-leading salary and benefits package and are looking to acquire a talented and motivated individual to add to their team.

Role:

  • Management of sub-contractors, labourers, and onsite staff
  • Management and control of health and safety issues
  • Understanding company policies regarding quality and ensuring these are implemented at every level of works
  • Understand quality requirements from specifications and drawings and ensure compliance with both
  • Take control of the Groundworks

Requirements:

  • Degree in Civil Engineering or a strong site background
  • Previous experience with groundworks on residential sites
  • Previous experience as a civil foreman
  • Able to work within a team
  • Adaptable, motivated, and uses own initiative
  • Ability to communicate strategy to the wider team
  • Proven record of seeing projects through from beginning to completion
