The 4 star Iveagh Garden Hotel opened February 2018 in Dublin City Centre. This modern 148 bedroom hotel has some exceptional views of the Iveagh Gardens. The design is classic contemporary, infused with jewel colours, rich textures, bespoke joinery and luxury finishes. The hotel has one of the newest and coolest bars/bistro in Dublin.

We are now recruiting for the people to deliver the Wow Factor within our Front Office team.

The Front of House Porter must lead from the front and both deliver and expect exceptional guest service at all times. This role will be expected to organise, allocate and deliver all levels of guest accommodation requirements and exceed guest expectations daily.

Organised and professional is a pre-requisite of this role with both technical ability across the front office systems and a knowledge of hotel operations gained from a similar role in a similar setting.

This role operates from the front line and will be an integral part of the hotel's professional, exceptional, and standards-driven reputation.

We are currently seeking a Full Time Porter to join our team (40 hrs per week). The porter position is a very hands-on job that requires a lot of manual labour and heavy lifting - setting up and breaking down events, carrying guests' luggage to rooms, setting up meeting rooms in addition to many other daily duties.

Duties from 7.30am - 4.00pm / 10am - 6pm / 2.30pm - 11pm as a guide with immediate starts and will include working weekends. 5 days over 7 on a shift basis.

The ideal candidate will have a friendly & outgoing personality and display excellent customer service skills, fluent English, and a very high standard of personal presentation.

Previous experience in a hotel environment is preferable for the role.
