As a member of our elite Waste Connections Operations team, you will be signing up for a company that is committed to our employee's long-term career development and success. A Day in the Life of a Transportation Supervisor:

• Assign and supervise work crews operating Over the Road truck and trailers.
• Monitor progress of daily operations and reassign employees and make staffing changes as necessary.
• Help develop and execute safety goals.
• Conduct field inspections and audits of all site personnel to ensure proper work procedures.
• Perform reviews and performance management discussions.
• Formulate both short-term and long-term goals and action plans.
• Oversee a variety of complex compliance programs, including environmental and OSHA.
• Work closely with multiple locations on a daily basis.
• Work with third party trucking companies as needed.

Must Have:

• Ability to relocate for promotional opportunities based on performance.
• Bachelor's degree strongly preferred.
• Prior experience in transportation/trucking/logistics required.
• Have or ability to obtain within 90 days your Class A CDL.
• Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to meet tight deadlines and juggle multiple priorities.
• Intermediate to advanced skills in MS Excel and related business systems.
• Ability to travel to all locations on a monthly basis.

Salary: $80,000 - $100,000 Annually

Bonus: 0-10%
