WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

Qualifications & Experience: Have a least 1 years Homecare experience in Ireland, at least 2 Core Modules of QQI level 5 in Health & Social care - Care Skills and Care of the Older person and working towards Full QQI level 5 in Health & Social Care

Drivers licence: Hold a full driving licence with access to a car

Communication Skills: Good standard of English - both spoken and written

Flexibility: Must be available to work alternative weekends

Desirable criteria: Have excellent interpersonal skills, and have an empathic approach to people and be highly organised, and have excellent time management skills

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

To be responsible for staff shadowing - ensuring Health & Safety policies and proceduresTo undertake emergency over - Rapid response (filling new packages and discharges)To evaluate and monitor the quality of the care delivered to clients and report to the area manager with concernsChecking and collecting journal notes from clients housesDelivery of Careplans, log sheets and gloves to client's homes when requiredDelivery of PPE
