We are seeking a skilled Project Scheduler to join our client, a global pharmaceutical company, in Cork. As a Project Scheduler, you will be responsible for developing, overseeing, and maintaining project schedules within the site P6 database.

About the Role

The successful candidate will work closely with different Project Engineers, Engineering Design Firms, Construction Management, Commissioning, and Site Operations teams to create and integrate schedules.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide end-to-end schedule development and management of all schedule aspects of a project from design through to manufacture.
  • Manage workflows and generate progress reports and metrics for management.
  • Develop and manage resource-loaded schedules in P6, interacting with different stakeholders to ensure resource demand is accurately reflected.
Requirements:Mandatory Skills:
  • 3+ years' experience in a similar role, large scale project experience desirable.
  • 3+ years' experience using Primavera p6 software.
  • Ability to review and integrate detailed design, contracts, construction, and commissioning programs.
  • Experience in schedule resource loading and development of progress measures using earned value approach.
  • Proficient in MS Project Scheduling tools.
Nice to Have Skills:
  • University Degree or college diploma in Science, Engineering or related field.
  • Certification of training course from Oracle in Primavera P6.
  • Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills are essential along with a good understanding and experience of project co-ordination & management through the full project lifecycle.
