Key Responsibilities

  1. Oversee daily workplace catering operations, ensuring outstanding service and a seamless dining experience.
  2. Lead, mentor, and develop the onsite catering team, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
  3. Drive client satisfaction and continually enhance the customer experience through innovative service approaches.
  4. Manage budgets effectively, ensuring financial objectives are met through accurate forecasting and cost control.
  5. Collaborate with the Head Chef to ensure smooth service delivery, including strategic menu planning and execution.
  6. Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to uphold operational efficiency and consistency.

Ideal Candidate Profile

  1. Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a managerial role within lifestyle hospitality, contemporary upmarket restaurants or world class workplace catering.
  2. Proven expertise in overseeing daily operations, including team management, inventory control, and guest services.
  3. Strong financial acumen with hands-on experience in budgeting, cost management, and revenue forecasting.
  4. Exceptional leadership and problem-solving abilities, with a proactive and strategic approach to operational challenges.
  5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ensuring strong team coordination and client engagement.
  6. Good knowledge of menu planning and food preparation, with an understanding of food trends, allergens, and dietary requirements.
  7. Excellent knowledge of current trends in food and an innovative mindset.
