Excel Recruitment currently has a fantastic opportunity available for an experienced Key Account Manager.

Our client, a highly established logistics company are seeking an experienced Key Account Manager to join their team, this role would be responsible for managing a large portfolio of customers throughout Ireland. The ideal candidate will have experience selling into and managing retail accounts. This role would be a mix of both office based in our clients office in Dublin West and field based.

Duties will include:

  • Develop and implement sales and retention strategies
  • Exhibit keen analytical and critical thinking skills, identifying potential for growth and continuous improvements.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, suppliers, and distributors.
  • Analyse market trends, consumer behaviour, and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth and innovation.
  • Monitor and evaluate sales performance, market share, and financial metrics to inform strategic decision-making.

Requirements

  • 3 years+ Experience in a similar role
  • Good knowledge of MS Office; knowledge of CRM based software is a plus.
  • Excellent communication/presentation skills and ability to build relationships.
  • Organizational and time-management skills
