Role Objectives: Responsible for manufacturing products at optimum quality, delivery, cost and customer satisfaction in accordance with defined schedule

RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Leading a group of Production Leads, Team Leaders and Production Operators according to established procedures and current world class manufacturing practices.

• Responsible for manufacturing products at optimum cost, quality, customer satisfaction and delivery in accordance with defined schedule.

• Establish standards of performance and monitor same against pre-determined standards.

• Production planning, Product Line layout and staffing levels for proper operation.

• Provide positive leadership by interpreting company policy and management directives for Production Personnel.

• Provide accurate and timely information to management as directed by ongoing business needs.

• Establish and maintain high level of employee morale.

• Ensure continuous reduction in absenteeism and attrition levels.

• Maintain sound disciplinary procedures in line with company requirements.

• Supervise compliance with Health and Safety, Environmental and Security Procedures.

• Housekeeping.

• Continuous improvement in best practice manufacturing.

• Manpower Planning.

• Ensure Manufacturing Operatives are trained to optimum standards.

• Perform regular appraisals of all Production employees in compliance with company procedure and manage under-performers.

• Training of Production Team Leaders in team and continuous improvement skills.

• Quality: Assure ongoing compliance with quality and industry regulatory requirements

• Health & Safety: Ensure compliance with Health & Safety Legislation and Regulations.

Interested applicants should have:


• At least 8 years' experience in the supervision of large number of personnel, preferably in a world class manufacturing environment

• Excellent communication skills, interpersonal skills

• Excellent leadership skills
