Our supply chain team continues to expand which drives the need for an ambitious procurement specialist to join us. This role provides scope to grow and develop our procurement discipline and procurement value roadmap through optimised supplier management, risk mitigation, standardised procedures and supporting the development of our supply chain.
Key responsibilities will include:
·Govern the supplier qualification process in compliance with procurement policies and processes
·Optimise supplier validation, engagement, onboarding and management processes
·Monitor supplier performance and conduct regular evaluations to assess compliance with contractual obligations
·Lead quotation and tender activities
·Co-ordinate and drive contract negotiation with suppliers
·Develop innovative approach to identifying vendor and process risk, and support mitigation activities to protect company from potential liabilities
·Indirect material sourcing and procurement, ensuring accuracy and contract adherence
·Complete material and service analysis, validating activity and supporting variance reconciliation
·Tracking of service and cost procurement KPIs and drive continuous improvement activities
·Provide ongoing support and updates to the Head of Supply Chain
·Construct reports and dashboard views for the Senior Management team
The successful candidate will have
·A minimum of 5-7 years' experience in procurement
·Qualification in procurement or finance desired
·Experience driving procurement model change within supply chain is a distinct advantage
·Communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills are essential
·High degree of numeracy with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
·Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and meet deadlines
·Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
