Orthopaedic Clinical Support Specialist

On behalf of my client, a leading medical and surgical sales and distribution company, we have a new vacancy for an Orthopaedic Clinical Support Specialist in West of Ireland.

Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with the Commercial Director of Orthopaedics.
  • Support the DePuy Synthes Joints portfolio.
  • Work with Key Decision Makers (KDMs) in the marketplace and multi-disciplinary teams.
  • Develop business strategies in conjunction with the Commercial Director of Orthopaedics.
  • Primary responsibility for the West of Ireland region with potential coverage across the country.
  • Develop and maintain a broad understanding of all aspects of the support process.
  • Keep up to date with specialist technical knowledge and market developments.
  • Train across a range of products and markets.
  • Maintain certifications and ensure ongoing professional development.
  • Monitor competitor activities and market developments.
The Person:
  • Strong business and influencing skills to provide customer-focused services and identify needs.
  • Excellent communication skills for team and individual environments.
  • Creative and innovative mindset.
  • Committed to delivering first-class service with expert advice in clinical settings.
Basic Requirements:
  • Clinical qualification with relevant experience, preferably in hip/knee implant areas.
  • Willingness to work in a clinical support role.
  • Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills.
  • Attention to detail and ability to follow through.
  • Quick analytical mind and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Sales experience is an advantage.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Clean, full driving license.
