Neville Hotels Ravenport Resort, a new deluxe hotel, golf course and holiday lodge resort in the well-known area of Curracloe in Wexford, overlooking the famous Curracloe beach. The hotel comprises of 50 bedrooms and suites, together with bar and restaurant, swimming pool and spa. 22 holiday lodges will complete the resort, which will be nestled amongst the 18-hole golf course.
We are currently looking to hire two Food & Beverage Supervisors to join our existing team. These are new positions within the Hotel with the intent on leading a new Food and Beverage outlet due to open late April.

JOB PURPOSE
To be responsible for guests' needs in respect of all food & beverage service required in the applicable department and to maintain four star standards at all times. To be responsible for the supervision and direction of all food & beverage colleagues. To uphold the standards and ethos of the food & beverage areas. To meet and greet all guests in a courteous and professional manner.
MAIN DUTIES
- To ensure the licensing laws are adhered to at all times.
- To be responsible for the supervision, training and development of food & beverage colleagues.
- To be fully familiar with the Departmental SOP's (Standard Operating Procedures) and Preferred Standards ensuring all colleagues are trained in same.
- To ensure that rosters are compiled in line with business requirements in the absence of the Departmental Manager.
- To be responsible for the maintenance of stock levels.
- To assist the Departmental Manager with the weekly / monthly stock takes in the Food & beverage areas.
- To be responsible for the requisition of all food and beverage supplies.
- To liaise with stores to ensure the timely supply of food and beverage stocks.
- To ensure the food & beverage area in which you are working meets the highest standards of cleanliness as set out by the Ravenport Resort.
- To liaise with other relevant departments in particular the kitchen at all times and provide support and assistance in other food & beverage areas as required.
- To ensure opening and closing procedures are carried out correctly.
- To coach the team to maximise sales opportunities in order to meet sales targets. Ensuring that all colleagues are fully conversant on all products and services within the resort and are able to upsell at every opportunity.
- To oversee the ordering, cost control and standards of all food and beverage supplies ensuring the correct purchase order procedures are adhered to.
- As a Supervisor you should encourage the team to display initiative and give praise for a job well done.
- To maintain close communication with all members of the management team within the resort to ensure the smooth & efficient running of the departments.
- Responsibility for the security of cash within the food & beverage areas. Subsequently, you should maintain a high level of observation & never leave cash in an open drawer or on work surfaces.
- To implement and maintain all company policies & procedures.
- To ensure all hygiene regulations & procedures are adhered to at all times.
- To provide support in other areas of the resort if necessary.
- To participate in all training programmes that you are scheduled for you and your team.
- Attend resort meetings as requested.
- To ensure all staff have been trained in complaint handling and that complaints are dealt with in a courteous and sympathetic fashion and reported on the daily handover.
Candidates must be able to work 5 over 7 days including weekends. Day and evening shifts.
