We are Hiring a Clinical Nurse Specialist - Oncology for our Hospital client in Dublin.
Responsibilities:

  • Assessing, diagnosing, and managing the symptoms and side effects associated with cancer treatment.
  • Providing comprehensive care to patients undergoing chemotherapy, radiation, or other cancer treatments.
  • Educating patients and families about the disease process, treatment options, and possible side effects.
  • Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to devise individualized care plans for patients.
  • Conducting research to improve patient outcomes and advance the field of oncology nursing.
  • Providing consultation to nursing staff and other healthcare professionals about complex patient care issues.
  • Ensuring that cancer care is delivered in a safe and effective manner, in accordance with established clinical protocols and standards.
  • Advocating for the needs of cancer patients and their families, providing emotional support and counseling services.
Requirements:
  • Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI) registration.
  • Postgraduate Diploma or equivalent in Oncology Nursing.
  • Masters (MSc) in Oncology Nursing is preferred.
  • 3 years of expertise in the speciality area of medical oncology (essential).
  • Demonstrated clinical and professional ability.
  • Strong IT abilities and experience with essential apps.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the capacity to work on his or her own initiative.
  • Strong communication and leadership abilities, as well as the ability to interact favourably with patients and colleagues.
  • Energetic and highly motivated.
  • Ability to work under pressure.
