The role requires a motivated, self-managed individual who demonstrates initiative and proactively seeks solutions to problems while striving for operational excellence. The work follows a process-oriented approach: the individual needs a strong willingness to learn new processes and adapt to rapidly changing operational scenarios with conflicting priorities.

The successful candidate will be part of the Engineering and Facilities team and will be responsible for maintaining availability for customers; ensuring maintenance and operation of technical infrastructure; and the upkeep and operation of the DC facility.

  2. Troubleshoot events within internal Service Level Agreements (SLA's)
  3. Take daily operational readings of all mechanical and electrical equipment through routine rounds/log-taking (temperatures, voltages, currents, etc.)
  4. Supervise contractors who perform servicing or preventive maintenance
  5. Manual handling and lifting of equipment may be required (weight limits in accordance with health & safety regulations).
  6. Ability to work shifts
