Key Responsibilities:

  • Reporting directly to the Executive Chef, assisting in all aspects of the culinary operations within the hotel.
  • Focusing primarily on the consistent quality of offering in the restaurant and bar.
  • Ensure culinary standards are met and the offering is developed to the highest standard through supervision, training and accurate execution of cooking techniques
  • Inspire our culinary team to deliver exceptional dining experiences that exceed guest expectations.
  • Create innovative and diverse menus in line with our concept & branding directives and guidelines that reflect seasonal offerings and cater to various dietary preferences.
  • Ensure consistent quality in food preparation, presentation, and service.
  • Oversee kitchen operations, including inventory management, budgeting, and compliance with food safety regulations.
  • Collaborate with other departments to coordinate seamless operations and enhance guest satisfaction.

Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a Sous Chef or Head Chef in a high-volume, upscale dining environment.
  • Creative flair and passion for culinary excellence.
  • Strong leadership and team-building skills.
  • Excellent communication and organisational abilities.
  • Knowledge of current food trends and techniques.
  • Certification in culinary arts or a related field is a plus.
