Role Overview

We're seeking a skilled and experienced Front-End Web Developer to join our team. As a mid-level developer, you will play a critical role in shaping the user experience and front-end architecture of our platform. Working closely with designers, back-end engineers, and product managers, you will contribute to the development of dynamic, interactive, and high-performance web applications that make group travel planning seamless and intuitive.

This is a fast-paced startup environment, where you will have the opportunity to take ownership of key features, make impactful technical decisions, and grow within the company as we scale.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain front-end web applications using Angular and TypeScript.
  • Implement server-side rendering (SSR) for optimized performance and SEO.
  • Optimise applications for speed, scalability, and responsiveness.
  • Work closely with UX/UI designers to translate wireframes into fully functional web interfaces.
  • Collaborate with back-end developers to ensure seamless API integrations.
  • Ensure front-end applications are accessible and mobile-friendly.
  • Conduct code reviews, mentor junior developers, and contribute to front-end coding best practices.
  • Stay up to date with modern front-end development trends, tools, and frameworks.
  • Assist in integrating front-end components with AWS services (if applicable).

Qualifications & Skills Required:

  • 3+ years of experience in front-end web development.
  • Strong Angular and TypeScript proficiency.
  • Experience with server-side rendering (SSR) techniques.
  • Solid understanding of HTML5, CSS3, and responsive design principles.
  • Familiarity with RESTful APIs and integrating front-end with back-end services.
  • Proficiency in Git version control and collaborative development workflows.

Bonus Skills:

  • Experience with AWS services (e.g., S3, CloudFront, Lambda).
  • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment strategies.
  • Familiarity with state management libraries (e.g., NgRx, Redux).
  • Experience working in agile development environments.

Soft Skills:

  • Ability to problem-solve and think critically in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • A passion for building user-friendly, high-performance web applications.
  • Self-motivated and proactive in improving workflows and technical processes.
