My client, a well established Automotive Manufacturer is looking to recruit a Financial Accountant to join their senior management team. The role reports to the COO and will be responsible for managing the day-to-day company finances, the preparation of monthly management accounts and ensuring internal controls are adhered to within the organisation. This is a permanent, on-site role based in Westmeath

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  1. Preparation of monthly management accounts
  2. Managing the purchases, sales, and nominal ledgers
  3. Preparation of monthly payroll
  4. Ensuring the company is tax compliant and all returns are submitted accurately and on time
  5. Managing the accounts team and work closely with senior management to develop the business
  6. Improvement of reports from ERP system
  7. Create ad-hoc reports for various business needs - including financial performance
  8. Manage the preparation of statutory financial accounts
  9. Ensure full CSO and CRO compliance

The Successful candidate will be:

  1. A highly organised individual with exceptional time management and organization skills
  2. Able to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously establishing priorities to meet deadlines
  3. An excellent communicator with strong computer skills
