As ENG Bauen continues to support clients across Ireland and mainland Europe, this is an excellent opportunity for a Validation Engineer to secure a long-term contract with a client making significant investments.

This role is perfect for a Validation Engineer with hands-on project experience and a strong background in project delivery, from concept to commissioning, qualification, and validation. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with relevant regulations while supporting key validation activities.

Responsibilities:

  1. Partner with local project teams to deliver Automation and IT aspects of capital projects.
  2. Work with site teams developing and executing validation plans, protocols (IQ, OQ, PQ), and reports.
  3. Ensure equipment, facilities, utilities, and processes meet regulatory and industry standards.
  4. Collaborate with engineering, quality, and operations teams to implement validation strategies.
  5. Conduct risk assessments and gap analyses to optimize validation activities.
  6. Provide technical competence in commissioning and qualification (C&Q) activities.

Requirements for the role:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or other technical degree.
  2. Experience in project automation or IT support in a similar role with experience in laboratory analytical instrument qualification.
  3. Experience in validation within Pharmaceutical, Biotech, or Medical Device industries.
  4. Experience in automation equipment used in the Laboratory is an advantage.
  5. Excellent written and oral communication skills, as well as strong presentation skills.
