Reservations Manager- Luxury Wedding and Event Venue

Excel Recruitment are currently looking for a Reservations Manager at one of Ireland's Premier Wedding and Events Venues. The successful candidate will be an experienced Reservations professional within a Hotel or wedding and event background.

Responsibilities of the Reservations Manager Job include:

Manage the day-to-day operations of the Reservations office Train, develop and supervise reservations staff Manage Reservation bookings for all rooms including reservations, amendments, cancellations and general enquires Ensure bookings are managed to maximise sales and occupancy Ensure all correspondence is managed in a timely, accurate and efficient manner Work closely with the Wedding Events Team and Housekeeping to ensure all guests requests are met and communicated to all departments Oversee and ensure the smooth and accurate flow of information within the department and throughout other departments at all times Deal with customer complaints in line with company policy

Requirements for the Reservations Manager Job include:

Previous experience as a Reservations Manager or Supervisor within a 4/5* property Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment Working knowledge of a Property Management System (Hotsoft) would be desirable though not essential Excellent attention to detail. Excellent customer care and communication skills Good team leader and ability to lead and motivate the Reservations team Confident in communicating with a wide range of people, both internally and externally Must have excellent written & spoken English Full driving license and transport is essential due to the rural location of the venue
