Job Description:We are looking for an ambitious, dynamic & self-motivated Food & Beverage professional with experience in organising, directing, and managing the Conference and Banqueting function within the hotel. Working closely with the Director of Food and Beverage and Executive Head chef to provide an exceptional and innovative guest experience.

What we are looking for:
- Extensive experience in wedding and event management
- Excellent knowledge of Food and Beverage (including wine)
- Excellent Customer Service and Communication Skills and the ability to influence change
- Extensive experience in F&B staff training, knowledge and skills, grooming, customer service and service etiquette
- Experience with report writing, e-mailing, training plans, administration, table plans, menus
- Strong leadership skills to effectively manage and motivate the team to achieve a high level of performance and customer service
- Attention to detail and a strong desire to exceed all our guests' expectations is essential
- Excellent personal presentation
- Highly organised with the ability to prioritise tasks
- Excellent communications skills both oral and written
- Excellent administration and organisational skills
- Ability to work as part of a team and ability to lead a team
Responsibilities:
- Overseeing and running of the daily Conference and Banqueting operations, giving support and guidance to fellow Food & Beverage personnel as well as monitor job performance to ensure a successful experience by our guests
- To generate new ideas for service and products that will maintain a competitive and leading edge over our competitive set and generate additional revenue
- Responsible for the appropriate and timely set up of all Meeting and Function suites while maintaining standards of food, beverage, and service specifications
- Review all written communication, i.e., daily/weekly BEOs to determine appropriate staffing levels, room/station assignments, buffet decor and enhancements as they relate to Food & Beverage room set-ups.
- To manage, train and develop the team ensuring all SOP's are adhered to
- Communicate information to the kitchen and other supportive departments prior to and during service.
- Inspect and oversee the cleanliness and maintenance of all meeting and function suites
- Co-ordinate with Wedding & Events and kitchen teams to ensure the highest level of product delivery.
- To organise weekly briefing with the Conference and Banqueting team and Beverage Supervisors to discuss and effectively cover all forthcoming events and review coverage of past week
- To ensure service briefings are carried out as appropriate regarding core standards (dress code, hygiene, service procedure)
